Performance

Chevrolet hasn’t released much information yet, outside of the fact that the Blazer EV SS will have 557 horsepower and 648 lb-ft of torque, and will use a Performance mode called Wide Open Watts to essentially give a boost to get the SS to 60 mph in under 4 seconds. The range should be around 290 miles.

We also know that the range of Blazer EVs with All-wheel drive will be around 279 miles, and with front-wheel drive, some of the trims will be able to reach 320 miles.

As of right now, Chevy hasn’t disclosed any battery information, outside of the fact that the Blazer EV will be able to charge on DC Fast Chargers, and at up to 190 kW, you can add 78 miles in roughly 10 minutes.

Exterior

The 2024 Blazer EV has bold and athletic styling with an appearance that prioritizes performance aesthetics. The long, sloped roof gives a coupe-like look to the crossover. With front fender vents evoking true high-performance character, the Blazer aims to make owners confident in the vehicle’s character and performance. LT trim models come standard with 19” wheels, while RS models come with 21” wheels, and the SS rides on 22” rims.

On RS and SS trims, the front end features prominent dual-element LEDs that span the length of the entire front. The LED lights even have choreographed lighting sequences, such as when the driver walks up to the car or walks away. The LED light bar and illuminated Chevy Bowtie both light up together. As the Blazer charges, the front LEDs will show the state of charge with the sequential lighting speeds up and intensifies as the vehicle nears its charging completion.

Interior

Sitting inside the Blazer EV, you will find a sophisticated cabin that is both classy and futuristic. RS and SS trims feature a flat bottom steering wheel and sculpted vents that mimic turbines.

All Blazer EVs will have a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen display that is slightly turned toward the driver. The instrument cluster is a large 11-inch diagonal Driver Information Center

Ambient lighting is standard, and RS and SS trims will be able to personalize the color you prefer. The RS will have blue and red contrasting stitching, plus sueded microfiber seating on the SS, with Adrenaline Red seating surfaces and available Argon Orange accents. Heated and ventilated seats are standard equipment on RS and SS models, as well as rear outboard seats being heated standard on the SS and optional on the RS.
